Access Free, Professional Support in Webster Vienna’s New Counseling Center
February 28, 2025
Webster Vienna Private University (WVPU) is committed to fostering a supportive campus environment for students who are often living away from home and managing academic stress.
As part of this commitment, this semester Webster Vienna opened a new Counseling Services Center in Room 2.29, designed to provide students with a safe and confidential space to discuss personal challenges and seek professional support.
Webster alumna Dr. Valbona Hoxha is the head of Counseling Services. Hoxha holds degrees in Psychology and is a licensed psychotherapist. In her new role, Hoxha is supervising Psychology master’s students during their practical professional experience and has worked with the WVPU Facility Team to transform the new counseling center in Room 2.29 into a resource for all.
The counselors for this academic semester are Sarah Doehring, Jacinta Kreiner, Barbara Leite and James Pozin. The WVPU counseling team is trained to provide guidance, confidentiality and resources to help the university community navigate personal and academic challenges. This team is here to help students come up with solutions. They are trained to elevate awareness of personal growth, bring forth conscious recognition of life successes and help students set short-term and long-term goals.
Through the center in Room 2.29, our community has access to:
- Free and confidential counseling: Our counseling services are available at no cost and are designed to support the well-being of our university community.
- Guidance on psychological and emotional well-being: Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns or personal growth challenges, the Webster Vienna counselors are here to help.
- Referrals to external resources: If needed, the team can guide you to additional psychological and mental health resources outside the university.
Confidentiality is a fundamental priority for our counseling services, ensuring that your privacy and trust remain protected throughout your counseling journey. We understand that seeking help can be a personal and important step, and the team is here to support you every step of the way. Students can schedule a free appointment by emailing counseling@webster.ac.at.
With a deep commitment to mental well-being, the counseling team offers a non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely and receive the support you need.
