Webster University's tuition rates listed below are for the 2024–2025 academic year indicated and are subject to change.
2024-2025 Tuition Rates
A bachelor's degree takes four years to complete (full-time).
New students pay the registration deposit before registration in any class; this fee is credited toward tuition fees (see Terms and Conditions).

Part-time undergraduate students registering for 1-5 credit hours in a term or 1-11 credit hours in a semester will pay 740 euros per credit hour. For example, a 3-credit course in 2024–2025 will cost 2,220 euros.
Undergraduate students registering for courses in the Summer sessions will pay the per credit fee. For example, a 3-credit course in 2024–2025 will cost 2,220 euros.

Part-time graduate students registering for 1-5 credit hours in a term, including Summer, or 1-8 credit hours in a semester will pay 850 euros per credit hour. For example, a 3-credit course in 2024–2025 will cost 2,550 euros.
*The BUSN 5000 prerequisite is paid separately and is not included in the estimates above.
WVPU Registration Deposit for New Students
Terms and Conditions
By paying the Registration Deposit, I confirm my understanding of, and agreement to, the following terms and conditions:
- AMOUNT
New students admitted to full-degree programs (Bachelor or Master) are required to pay the amount of one thousand euros (1,000 euros) to secure their place at WVPU. Payment must be made before class registration/enrollment. - RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT
- The Registration Deposit is not an additional fee; it will be credited towards the tuition fee payable to WVPU according to the tuition and fees schedule of the respective academic year.
- Should the student defer to the next semester, the paid Registration Deposit may be carried over and credited towards the next semester’s tuition fees. However, the payment may not be carried over to the next academic year unless approved by the Head of Finance.
- If a student drops all classes by the semester’s drop deadline (first Friday of the semester or term), WVPU’s Finance Office will only refund paid tuition fees minus the paid deposit (1,000 euros).
- If a student paid the Registration Deposit but does not show up for any class in the first week, the student will be dropped from all classes and the paid deposit (1,000 euros) will not be refunded.
- REFUND CONDITIONS
- Refunds may only be requested under exceptional cases and may be approved only for
valid and documented reasons such as:
- visa denial, confirmed by a letter from Austrian immigration authorities (e.g., MA35) but only for reasons that do not include the submission of incomplete, inaccurate, incorrect documents; and
- serious illness, confirmed by a signed medical certificate from a licensed physician or medical specialist, whom the university can contact for verification.
- Refunds may only be requested with accompanying documentation up until and no later than July 31 (for fall semester entry) or Dec. 31 (for spring semester entry).
- Refunds may only be requested under exceptional cases and may be approved only for
valid and documented reasons such as:

Information on Tuition and Fees Payment
At Webster Vienna Private University, the tuition fee may be paid upfront via bank transfer or online payments, via a WVPU installment payment model (application required), or with an interest-free payment plan through our partner StepEx (EU/EEA/UK citizens; application required). Please note that the selected Payment Model may not be changed during the semester.
Changes of credit hours and related tuition fees will be adjusted after the add/drop/withdrawal period and at the end of the semester. Refunds will be credited to the students' accounts during the first week of the coming semester.
Upfront Payment
The tuition fee is payable on a semester basis by bank transfer or by online payments using Flywire. Scroll down to the "Payment Types" section for details. Students paying the full amount upfront can pay directly to our bank account (indicated below) without sending an application. If you register for courses after the first day of the semester, you will be automatically on the Full Payment Model, meaning that you may not pay in installments.
WVPU Installment Payment Models
Webster Vienna Private University offers the possibility to split tuition fee payments in installments during the main semesters (excluding summer terms) according to the payment models described below.
Students who want to split the payment need to apply for one of the installment payment models by emailing finance.students@webster.ac.at. Students who applied for a payment plan will receive via email a personalized payment plan with the payment deadlines and amounts. Please apply for the payment plan as soon as possible, ideally right after you register for courses.

Webster Vienna Private University offers two internal installment payment models (50/50 and monthly installments) by email application to finance.students@webster.ac.at for current and new students from a minimum enrollment of nine U.S. credit hours per semester for undergraduates or six U.S. credit hours per semester for graduate students.
- The Summer Term is excluded from these models. In summer term each student must pay 100% tuition upfront until the Friday before the start of Summer term classes.
- Students who enroll only in the second term of a semester (Fall 2 or Spring 2) may not use either installment payment model. They will need to pay the full tuition of the term upfront by the week before the start of the term.
WVPU Payment Models
Installment Plan
A written request is required for this payment model. Please email finance.students@webster.ac.at.
The student needs to be registered for a minimum of three courses/semester (undergraduate) or two courses/semester (graduate) to be eligible for this payment model.
If you are on this payment model, you pay 40% of the tuition cost of the semester at the beginning of the semester, on or before the Friday before classes start. After this, you pay 20% in each month (October, November and December in Fall semester; March, April and May in Spring semester).
50/50 Plan
An application is required for this payment model. Please apply by emailing finance.students@webster.ac.at.
The student needs to be registered for a minimum of three courses/semester (undergraduate) or two courses/semester (graduate) to be eligible for this payment model.
If you are on this payment model, you pay 50% of the tuition cost of the semester at the beginning of the semester on or before Friday before the courses start. After this you pay the other 50% at the end of the semester, i.e., in December in Fall semester or in May in Spring semester.
Note: Students on the 50/50 or installment payment plan who fail to pay the last installment in a semester will not be allowed to register for courses in the next semester, or if they are already registered, they will be dropped during the first week of courses.
