Background and Facts

During her studies, Mag. Kristjansdottir specialised in assessment and therapy for both adults and children. Her training included cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), acceptance and commitment therapy and Mindfulness. Mag. Kristjansdottir worked at hospitals and clinics in Australia focusing on trauma related experiences in the perinatal area, working with both women and children. Furthermore, Mag. Kristjansdottir is a certified meditation teacher.
