What is the structure of the course? (Does it have practical and theory components?)

Participants can expect a carefully coordinated mix of lectures, presentations, simulations and discussions in small groups.

What are the learning outcomes of the programs?

For the Algorithmic Finance program, the most important learning outcomes are three different methodological approaches to algorithmic finance (simulation, optimisation and machine learning). A basic understanding of financial markets as well as the fundamentals of statistics and probability theory are required to be able to follow the lectures optimally.

For the Individual Creativity & Organizational Innovation program, the main benefit lies in the IMAGINO®, which underpins an organization’s potential and ability to focus on developing and stimulating key creative and innovative drivers. These drivers or indicators identify individual and corporate deficits by comparing them to a global gold standard, and identify how and where to close the deficits, so that the whole workshop is tailored to close these deficits. The goal is to foster individual creativity and corporate innovation.

  • Understand the big picture about innovation strategy
  • Understand the drivers of creativity and how to enhance them
  • Create corporate creativity and innovation culture
  • Lead and drive creativity and innovation for lasting corporate success

The Operational Excellence program is based on a curriculum that has been used successfully for many years for executives and managers in the financial services sector.

The course provides advanced professional skills in change and process management. It applies only those process improvement methods that are appropriate and effective in the financial services industry, and adds best practices and "soft" skills that address the general improvement needs of financial and other service organizations. The application of these selected methods enables the pragmatic examination and analysis of service processes, resulting in lasting solutions that meet customer needs, eliminate costs and mitigate operational risks.

The training is delivered using real-world simulations, making it relevant and memorable as it replicates the participants' own environment and requires practical application of the tools and techniques.

The key benefits of the Telematics program are that you will gain a global business perspective, enhance your insurance industry skills and develop a more sophisticated view of the key concepts and emerging technologies in insurance telematics.

This training will support you in the digital transformation of your business and provide you with valuable insights to confidently achieve your professional goals and bring real change to your business:

  • Customer acquisition: winning new customers with technology and digital marketing.
  • Risk assessment: detect risky behaviour with telematics and scoring.
  • Damage reduction: use telematics, machine learning and marketing automation to warn of risks and reward positive behaviour.
  • Reward and customer loyalty: inspire customers with intelligent services and behaviour-based incentives.
  • Upselling: offering the right product at the right time in the right place with smartphone applications.
