Undergraduate Tuition Fees

Most course fees are for three US credit hour courses including textbooks. One academic year consist of five terms (Summer 2020 - Spring II 2021):

  • Annual Fee: EUR 20900 (covering Fall and Spring Semesters, excluding Summer Term courses)
  • Semester Fee: EUR 10450 (full-time: 12 - 18 US credits or 4 - 6 courses per semester)
  • Part-Time: EUR 655 per US credit hour (up to 11 US credits per semester); tuition fee for one course with 3 US credit hours is EUR 1965
  • Summer Term (optional) - EUR 655 per US credit hour

Additional Fees and Fines

  • Graduation fee: EUR 100
  • Austrian National Student Union (OeH) mandatory semester fee: EUR 20.20
  • Late registration fee: EUR 100 per semester/term.
  • ID card replacement fee: EUR 30
  • Locker key: EUR 35
  • Textbook fines to be determined at the Library

Graduate Tuition Fees

Most course fees are for 3 us credit hour courses including textbooks. One academic year consist of five terms (Summer 2020 – Spring II 2021); tuition fees are invoiced per term or per semester:

  • FEE PER U.S. CREDIT HOUR: EUR 775 (one standard course = 3 US credit hours, so 1 course = EUR 2325)
  • Estimated Total Program Fee (for 36 US credits): EUR 27900 for 36 US credits (Finance, Marketing, International Relations, MBA; excluding prerequisites)
  • Estimated Total Program Fee (for 48 US credits): EUR 37200 for 48 US credits (Psychology)

The tuition fee is payable on a semester basis per bank transfer. We offer the possibility to split the payments in installments during the main semesters (excluding summer terms) according to the Payment Models described below.

Students paying the full amount upfront can pay directly to our bank account (indicated below) without sending an application.

Students who want to split the payment need to apply for one of the installment payment models sending an email to finance. Students who applied for a payment plan will receive per email a personalized payment plan with the payment deadlines and amounts. Please apply for the payment plan as soon as possible, ideally right after you register for courses.

If you register for courses after the first day of the semester, you will be automatically on the Full Payment Model, meaning that you may not pay in installments.

Changes of credit hours and related tuition fees will be adjusted after the add/drop/withdrawal period and at the end of the semester. Refunds will be credited to the student accounts during the first week of the coming semester.

Please note that the selected Payment Model may not be changed during the semester.

We offer two installments Payment Models (50-50 and monthly installments) for current and new students from a minimum enrollment of 9 US credits/semester for undergraduates or six US credits/semester for graduates.

Full Payment Model

An application is not needed for this Payment Model. If you are on this Payment Model, you pay the whole semester tuition fees (100%) at the beginning of the semester on or before the Friday before classes start.

50-50 Payment Model

An application is required for this Payment Model. The student needs to be registered for a minimum of 3 courses/semester (Undergraduate) or 2 courses/semester (Graduate) to be eligible for this payment model. If you are on this Payment Model, you pay 50% of the tuition cost of the semester at the beginning of the semester on or before Friday before the courses start. After this you pay the other 50% at the end of the semester, i.e. in December in Fall semester or in May in Spring semester.

In case you choose the 50-50 or installment payment option, we charge a Payment Plan Fee. The fee is payable with the payment of the last installment. The ASU fee is payable with the first installment. The Payment Plan Fee is payable with the last installment. Scholarships, grants, and discounts are deducted from the first installment.

Installment Payment Model

An application is required for this Payment Model. The student needs to be registered for a minimum of three course/semester (Undergraduate) or two courses/semester (Graduate) to be eligible for this payment model. If you are on this Payment Model, you pay 40% of the Tuition cost of the semester at the beginning of the semester on or before the Friday before classes start. After this you pay 15% in each month (Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec in Fall semester; Feb, March, April, May in Spring semester).

In case you choose the 50-50 or installment payment option, we charge a Payment Plan Fee. The fee is payable with the payment of the last installment. The ASU fee is payable with the first installment. The Payment Plan Fee is payable with the last installment. Scholarships, discounts are deducted from the first installment.

Undergraduate:

  • Installments model: 40% August 14, 2020; 15% February 28, 2020; 15% March 31, 2020; 15% April 30, 2020; 15% December 4, 2020.

Payment for Fall II Term:

For part-time student taking Fall II courses only

  • Graduates: October 16, 2020
  • Undergraduates: October 23, 2020

Payment Deadlines for Spring Semester 2021

Undergraduate:

  • Full payment: January 8, 2021
  • 50-50: First 50% January 8, 2021; Second 50% May 7, 2021.
  • Installments model: 40% January 8, 2021; 15% February 15, 2020; 15% March 15, 2020; 15% April 15, 2020; 15% May 7, 2021.

Graduate:

  • Full Payment: December 21, 2020
  • 50-50: First 50% December 21, 2020; Second 50% May 7, 2021.
  • Installments model: 40% December 21, 2020; 15% February 15, 2020; 15% March 15, 2020; 15% April 15, 2020; 15% May 7, 2021.

Payment for Spring II Term:

For part-time student taking Spring II courses only

  • Graduates: March 12, 2021
  • Undergraduates: March 12, 2021

The ONLY accepted payment form is bank transfer. Please note that ALL bank transfers must indicate the International Bank Account Number (IBAN code), the student's full name, student ID and semester/term. Transfers from a country outside of Austria will need to show the Bank Identifier Code (BIC code) in addition to the IBAN code. Payment sheets are available in the Finance Office.

Fire/Hazardous Material Release

  • Activate the nearest fire alarm.
  • As you leave your room/office/class, close windows and doors, if you can.
  • Do not take any belongings—your life comes first!
  • Evacuate the building immediately by following the exit signs. Do not use any elevators.
  • Do not return and enter the building unless instructed by security personnel.

Medical Emergency

  • Do not move the patient unless in danger at current location.
  • Stay with the patient until help arrives.

Suspicious Person or Activity

Threatening Person on Campus

  • Leave the building if someone is exhibiting threatening behavior or committing violence.  Notify anyone you may encounter to exit the building.
  • If you cannot leave the building, lock or barricade yourself in the nearest room and turn off the lights.
  • Hide and keep as quiet as possible.

Emergency Assembly Point

  • If you need to evacuate the building, use the nearest safe exit.
  • Remain at the Emergency Assembly Point until you receive an “all clear” or further instructions.

Webster Vienna can only get emergency information to you if we know how to reach you.  In order to keep you informed and safe, we must have your current information, including your e-mail address, home phone number and mobile phone number. Faculty and staff should do this by contacting Human Resources. Students should contact the Registrar's Office.

Our library is dedicated to supporting the teaching, research, and intellectual pursuits of faculty, students and staff. The library is committed to acquiring, organizing and preserving information in order to support the academic needs of the students.

The library has study areas where students can work and research in calm, comfortable spaces. With assistance from staff, students can access collections comprising reference, periodical, media, and general materials.

Any student that has completed a course at our University may request a copy of their transcript from the Office of the Registrar. Transcripts that are sent to or handed to the student are labeled "Issued to Student." "Official transcripts" are those that are mailed directly to the institution/agency. Faxed transcripts are unofficial. Transcripts will not be released to students that have delinquent obligations to the University.

 

You may request a transcript of your work by one of the following methods:

 

  1. Online– Click the link below to take you to the National Student Clearinghouse to place your order. You will be required to pay by credit card. There is a $15.00 fee per transcript and a $2.25 surcharge per order (not per transcript).
  • By ordering transcripts electronically, you will be notified by text or email when the Registrar's Office begins processing your request.
  • You will also be notified by text or email if there are any issues in processing your request.
  • If you need express mailing, please contact the Registrar’s Office by phone at 314-246-7450 or by email to make arrangements after you have placed your order.
  • Finally, you will also be notified by text or email when we have completed your order.

Order Transcripts Electronically

  1. By mail– Click on the link below. Download and print the form. Complete and sign it. Mail it along with a check or money order made payable to Webster University in the amount of $15.00 to the mailing address located on the Transcript Request Form.

  1. In person– Come to the Office of the Registrar and complete a Transcript Request Form and make payment in our office by check, money order or credit card. Please do not bring cash. If you have any questions, please call 800-987-3447.
