Webster's Got Talent 2017

This year’s Webster’s Got Talent Vienna show was bursting with energy! The show started off with a bang, as guest performer and winner of the 2016 Webster’s Got Talent, Alex Haubenburger, sang an upbeat song for the audience. Each performer received a roaring applause and selecting the winner and runner-up was not easy. Thank you to our talented contestants: Darya Makshyna (vocals), Gregory Hightower (spoken word), Suzanne Preston (vocals), Brian Li (piano), Irene Dos Santos (vocals), Daisy James-Weidner (vocals), and Ellen Faye-Adams (spoken word).

Contestants then received a score from each judge, and votes from the crowd. Thank you to our judges: Dr. Ryan Crawford (professor and philosopher), Nataly Loumba (staff member at Webster and professional dancer), Natalia Villanueva (classical musician), and Daniel Kremsner (singer of the rock band, “Psycho Village”).

Congratulations to winner Ellen Faye-Adams who shared her slam poetry with the audience, and to runner-up, Daisy James-Weidner for her powerful rendition of Demi Lovato’s, “Skyscraper”. They will get the chance to represent Vienna at the Webster’s Got Talent European Finals held in Leiden April 2017.
