Webster Vienna is dedicated to optimizing the student’s experience  in every way—academically, socially, and professionally—and provides a wide variety of resources to ensure that outcome.

Academic Guidance and Support

  • Academic Advisors (Undergraduate and Graduate)
    Every student is assigned to an academic advisor who provides personalized guidance throughout the entire program of study. The advisor assists students with course selection and all related academic issues.
     
  • The Library and Learning Center
    The library has more than 10,000 books with an emphasis on the academic areas of interest at Webster. In addition, several business magazines and newspapers are available. We also have an extensive reference section. Students are be able to utilize project rooms, computer stations and study at a private study carrel or lounging on one of the library's comfortable benches.
     
  • Request Official Transcripts
    Students who has completed a course at Webster University may request a copy of their transcript.
     
  • University Textbook Service
    Textbooks and other printed materials required for Webster Vienna coursework are complementary with tuition. To collect these materials, students have only to come to the Textbook Service and sign their names.
     
  • The Writing Center
    To be successful in class and also in your future professional career, it is essential to be able to communicate correctly and effectively. We offer individual tutoring free of charge—to help you improve your writing skills in all areas:  grammar, essay writing, citation formats, and editing.
     
  • The Quant Center
    The Quant Center offers free tutoring in math and quantitative work to students at all levels and across all disciplines.
     
  • Academic Policies
    Please follow this link for information about academic ground rules including the Honor Code, class attendance, and homework guidelines.
     
  • Connections
    The Connections Portal is an interactive portal with numerous features designed to help students interact more effectively with the university and with fellow students. Important information such as final grades, the degree audit and course enrollment information is posted on Connections.
     
  • The Media Center
    The Media Center organizes student and faculty use of audio-visual and digital equipment.

Social Assistance and Activities

  • The Student Government Association (SGA)
    Your elected student representatives in the SGA serve as your voice in university affairs. They organize fun events and activities for students and also promote programs designed to help you in your creative and academic projects. In addition, the SGA supports sport clubs and other organizations run by students.
     
  • Counseling and Psychological Testing Services
    Private, professional evaluations and consulting are available and free of charge to assist you if you experience emotional difficulties  (e.g. anxiety, depressive moods) or learning or academic difficulties (e.g. due to anxiety, motivation or concentration problems)
     
  • Disabilities and Accommodations
    If you have certain health conditions e.g. learning disabilities, please let us know right away so we can assess the situation to find out how we can accommodate your needs best.
     
  • Clubs and Organizations
    There are several special-interest clubs for students to join. In addition, each year all Webster campuses in Europe participate in a football tournament as well as a talent show.
     
  • Webster LEADS
    At Webster you have many opportunities to develop your leadership skills. This inspiring program offers you the chance to develop and be recognized for those abilities through special classes, workshops, retreats, projects and practical experiences.

Professional Advice and Opportunities

  • Career Development Center
    The Career Development Center provides individual career coaching, connections to job and internship opportunities, information and links to job search resources, access to guest lectures and career workshops, as well as several other tools to prepare students and alumni to compete successfully in the job market after graduation.
     
  • Alumni Association
    Our Alumni Association helps alumni worldwide stay in touch with each other and the university. They provide alumni with professional and social networking opportunities, and bring alumni together with current students and faculty members.
