Webster Vienna Private University understands that transformative learning comes from engaging with more than just academic topics. Through an emphasis on social engagement, Webster seeks to motivate students to lead lives of purpose. Year-round, our students are encouraged to confront social issues and get involved with service both in the community and worldwide. Integrated both within and outside of the classroom, the importance of philanthropy and proper social responsibility is demonstrated through our academic programs, events and direct community involvement. Through each charitable encounter, students develop greater awareness and reflect on their own roles within our global society.

WWW- Webster Works Worldwide
Annually, Webster University sponsors a campus-wide community service day in partnership with local agencies and nonprofit organizations. For a full day, students, faculty, staff and alumni work together in support of the local community.
Ibubi Primary School in West Kenya
Through the contributions of professor, Giles Pope, Webster has held a number of funding raising events in direct support of the children at the Ibubi Primary School in West Kenya.
Global Citizenship Program (GCP)
As a core part of their degree, the GCP confronts students with social, environmental and political issues while challenging them to use critical thinking, ethical reasoning, intercultural competence and effective communication. The program seeks to thoroughly develop these future-oriented skills and judgment as they continue to contribute to solving local, regional, and global problems.
