On April 17, 2018 Webster Vienna Private University's Career Center hosted an exciting career lunch with Maryam Yeganehfar, WVPU alumna and owner of yamyam event production.

Webster's Got Talent Europe Weekend 2018

The weekend of April 13th to 15th marked the 5th annual Webster’s Got Talent Europe Championship as well as the European Football Tournament between the Geneva, Leiden and Vienna campuses. 

As a new addition to the „Webster Weekend“ this year, delegates of the European Student Government Associations met to discuss joined projects and strategies. 

On Friday all participants got together for the weekend’s kick-off event to get to know each other in a casual atmosphere and start the competitions off.

Latin Cooking Night

Community, fun and some Spanish – that are the ingredients to cook up a delicious meeting of the Spanish Club. On April 11th, in cooperation with the International Student Officer of SGA, the newly founded Spanish Club organized a Latin Cooking Night to celebrate and share the unique cultures of the students.

Together, they prepared, cooked, chopped and baked traditional meals from the Peruvian, Venezuelan, Mexican and more kitchens.

Mauthausen Memorial Visit 2018

Last Saturday, some of our students took the opportunity to take part in an excursion to Mauthausen, a former concentration camp of the Nazi regime in Austria (1938-1945). Today, Mauthausen serves as a memorial to preserve the memory of the victims.

WebMUN 2018 Application is open

WebMUN 2018 officially began accepting applications for participants this week. Themed “The Complexity of Globalization and Issues with Human Rights,” WebMUN brings students from around the world to Webster Vienna’s Palais Wenkheim for a four-day conference this October.

The WebMun conference 2018 will be held from October 18th - 22nd and discuss the theme “The Complexity of Globalization and Issues with Human Rights".
