Business and Management Associate Professor Dr. Menbere Workie is publishing a monthly commentary on economics and finance in HN Komentare, the most readable Economic Newsletter in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. His latest commentary was dealing with the question of why public debt is so frightening:
Last Saturday, Webster students ventured to Upper Austria for a guided tour at Mauthausen, a former concentration camp from the National Socialist period of Austria's history (1938- 1945). Students spent the day learning about the tragic history of Mauthausen and the people who were sent there. The camp has been partially preserved and turned into a memorial and educational site.
The Psychology Department at Webster Vienna Private University kindly invites high school, AP, and IB students, as well as Austrian GymnasiastInnen and MaturantInnen to participate in Webster’s first Psychology Youth Conference.
On March 28th Webster Vienna Alumni hosted an event on campus called "Cultural Speed Dating and Mashup" with their newly established NGO called ICDO (International Cultural Diversity Organization). The mission of ICDO is to promote diversity, interculturality and raise awareness of different cultural expressions in order to encourage the development of cultural interaction.
