Dr. Ioannis Chatziantoniou is an Associate Professor in the business and management department at Webster Vienna Private University of Vienna. Since 2011 he is also a Senior Lecturer in the Economics and Finance subject group at Portsmouth Business School in the United Kingdom. His research interests revolve around empirical macroeconomics with particular emphasis on energy economics and monetary policy as well as housing and financial markets.
His most recent work has been published in Urban Studies, Global Finance Journal, the International Review of Financial Analysis, The Manchester School, Economics Letters, Energy Economics, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and Economic Modelling. Additionally, his work has been presented at prestigious conferences, including the European Regional Association (ERSA) Congress, International Conference on Macroeconomic Analysis and International Finance (ICMAIF), International Association of Applied Econometrics (IAAE), INFINITI, Multinational Finance Society (MFS), and International Network for Economic Research (INFER).
