    At the press conference, held within the premises of the Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna, the Austrian Private University Conference (ÖPUK) marked its 20th anniversary today by presenting its achieved results, current developments, and future plans.

  • WVPU Students Get a Clear Lesson in Corporate Social Responsibility at Vöslauer

    On 11th June 2019, Webster Vienna Graduate students taking the Management course in Corporate Responsibility and Society travelled with their instructor, Dr. Eva Zedlacher, to the Vöslauer Mineralwasser production facilities in Bad Vöslau. Herbert Schlossnikl, CEO and Head of Sustainability at the market leading Austrian mineral water producer, guided the students through the company’s latest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report and answered questions relating to challenges for effective CSR at Vöslauer.

    “NeuroIS Conference 2019: Psychology student receives the prize for the most visionary paper” - During the NeuroIS Conference in June 2019, the Psychology department’s head, Dr. Peter Walla, in collaboration with the student Sofija Lozovic, won the “Zemlicka Award – The most visionary paper”.

    After taking over the family business four years ago, Anna Schallehn-Schmidberger realized she required greater competence in business and marketing if she was to succeed in putting her own stamp on the shop and its products. Therefore, Anna chose the MSc in Marketing at Webster Vienna to take the next step in her educational and business career.

    From May 27-29 2019, Webster Vienna students were given the opportunity to vote in elections for the Austrian University Student Representation System.

  • Global Student Leadership Summit 2019

    From May 27th to 31st 2019, selected students from the international Webster community descended on St. Louis, Missouri for the biennial Global Student Leadership Summit (GSLS). This year, students from St. Louis, Ghana, Leiden, Geneva and Vienna came together to exchange their valuable experiences as student leaders at their home campuses, while taking part in activities which helped to facilitate intercultural exchange and positive group dynamics.

    Taking place on 16th of May at spectacular Saal der Labstelle in the heart of Vienna, the Webster Vienna Alumni Association was excited to organize annual get-together of all WVPU Alumni and congratulate the Class of 2019 for becoming a part of the Webster Vienna Alumni Association!

  • Anifer Journalismustage

    The Journalism Weekend Workshop in Anif (Anifer Journalismustage) will take place once again for the 6th year in July 2019. It has established itself as a standard in the Austrian media scene. Major features include a continually growing number of applicants, high-quality presenters/trainers and memorable keynote speakers from domestic as well as international organizations. These features guarantee that this event is well received in the community.
