Background and Facts

Mag. Rothschild was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. In 1993, she received her B.A. in Psychology at Southern Oregon State College (now Southern Oregon University). Her senior year she was the Student Body Vice President and graduated Cum Laude, in addition to receiving other honors and awards:

Churchill Scholar Honors Program, 1992 - 1993

During her exchange year in 1994, she met her husband and decided to stay in Vienna. Mag. Rothschild received her Austrian degree “Magister der Naturwissenschaften” (Magister in Natural Sciences) in Psychology in 2000, from the University of Vienna. Her thesis focused on chronic and acute back pain patients and how they deal with stressors: “Salutogenesis and Back Pain: Sense of Coherence as an Influential Factor for Recovery.” Her Diploma Examination covered Clinical and Health Psychology as well as Tests and Assessments. In 2002, she completed the post-graduate licensing as a Clinical and Health Psychologist. She is currently completing a post-clinical training in Child, Youth & Family Psychology.

Her main interests are psychological testing and diagnostics. Mag. Rothschild has a passion for top quality psychological tests and embraces a credo of providing fair assessments in one's native language. This area has expanded to include consultations based on assessment results. A second concentration is working with people enduring physical ailments, for example, pain patients. Her work as a Cardiopsychologist assisting heart patients who are hospitalized because of a heart attack, bypass surgery, pacemaker & deliberator implantations, angioplasty or other cardiovascular problems exemplifies this concern. She is currently splitting her time between both offices as well as with her students and family. Mag. Rothschild is married with two children.
