Housing - Residence am Augarten
Welcome to ÖJAB Webster Residence Am Augarten
An 80-bed facility that combines all the newest amenities with the charm of vintage Viennese architectural style, Webster’s new dormitory provides students with superior comfort, practical convenience, and an engaging social atmosphere.
The Webster Residence Am Augarten is located at Heinestrasse 15 in Vienna’s second district, a 10-minute walk to the university’s new campus at the Palais Wenkheim, and a five-minute walk to the famous Prater and Augarten parks. The city center is a mere two subway stations away, although it is also easily reached by foot.
Both the Residence Assistant and the Housing Director, who are stationed at the reception desk, live on the premises, and are available to help students manage and enjoy their dormitory lives as part of the Webster community.
To create a community atmosphere and assure a supportive and caring environment for new students, all students accepted to the Webster Vienna undergraduate program (freshmen or transfer students) are required to spend their first academic semester living at the university sponsored ӦJAB Webster Residence Am Augarten. Students who wish to stay longer can extend their contract on a semester basis.
Living in a dorm has many advantages. Students who live in Webster housing are more likely to earn better grades, become involved on campus, interact with faculty, and are much more likely to graduate.
