Visit the International Anti-Corruption Academy!
The International Relations department is inviting Webster students to join a trip to the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Laxenburg on November 2nd 2017.
The International Anti-Corruption Academy was initiated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, INTERPOL, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), the Republic of Austria, and other stakeholders, and is the first global institution of its kind. Dedicated to overcoming current shortcomings in knowledge and practice in the field of anti-corruption, the organization is seeking to empower professionals for the challenges of tomorrow.
The two-hour visit to the IACA will include an introduction providing a general overview of the institutions vision and mission, as well as their mandates and activities and a Q&A, followed by a staff lecture on anti-corruption studies and a tour of the building.
The IR department has organized transportation, so we will meet at Webster Vienna Private University at 2:10pm and go to Laxenburg together. There are only 15 slots available!
If you’re interested in visiting the IACA, please register at firstname.lastname@example.org until October 28th.
