The Journalism Weekend Workshop in Anif (Anifer Journalismustage) will take place once again for the 6th year in July 2019. It has established itself as a standard in the Austrian media scene. Major features include a continually growing number of applicants, high-quality presenters/trainers and memorable keynote speakers from domestic as well as international organizations. These features guarantee that this event is well received in the community.

Dzuljeta Kastujeva, BA graduate in Media Communications, has shared her experiences and tips for those wishing to study at Webster Vienna. Dzuljeta describes how she deepened her knowledge of the media and how it influences society, how the broad range of elective courses available at Webster allowed her to pursue and combine other interests, and the importance of the undergraduate thesis to continuing her academic career after Webster.

This book, written by Dr. Bradley Wiggins, assistant professor and head of the media communications department at Webster Vienna Private University, explores cases of cultural, economic, and political critique levied by the purposeful production and consumption of internet memes.
