Webster Vienna's Business & Management Society is currently looking for a motivated individual to take over the the lead of this student community for all interested Business & Management students.
The Business & Management Society (BMS) was founded in 2014 by student Hannah Urbanek, who has recently graduated from Webster Vienna. The BMS is under direct supervision and guidance from the Business & Management Department and you will be working directly with the department and university staff.
The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) credential has become the most recognized and respected professional investment qualification worldwide. Our Master of Science in Finance program has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge.

Dr. Mehdi Ali, Professor of Economics at Webster, participated in the 166th Meeting of the OPEC Conference as Analyst. The meeting was held at the OPEC Secretariat here in Vienna, on 27th November, 2014. It was attended by the Oil ministers of the OPEC member countries and received wide media attention.

The Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (IEECA) and the Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research (JEECAR), in cooperation with Webster University St. Louis, will hold this year’s International Business Conference at the new Webster Vienna Private University campus in the beautiful Palais Wenkheim from October 23-24, 2014.
The Marketing Strategies class, MNGT 4920, just completed a successful project with sustainable furniture company, Retyred Furniture.
Retyred Furniture develops furniture made out of old car tires in Indonesia for an Australian Company run by the famous Austrian kite-surfer, Bernie Kudernatsch. The students had the challenge of creating a market entry strategy for Retyred on entering the Austrian market.
Three groups presented their findings to the clients at the ad agency, Identum, in a real life situation, impressing the clients with many ideas,concepts and strategies.
