New Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship

Undergraduate students at Webster Vienna Private University can now pursue the new Certificate in Entrepreneurship. The program is comprised of six 3-credit hour courses which promote entrepreneurial awareness and thinking among students and develop the necessary real-world skills and abilities to become self-employed or start and grow an entrepreneurial venture.

The Honorable Eugene R. Sullivan, the former Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals gave a Centennial Lecture, "Investigating Alleged Misdeeds: Good Corporate Practice" at the Webster Vienna Campus on Thursday, January 29. His remarks were based on case studies that he encountered at his current position as partner in the global judicial/law enforcement consulting firm, Freeh Group International Solutions (FGIS), founded by Louis J. Freeh, former director of the FBI.

The Business & Management Society (BMS) was founded in 2014 by student Hannah Urbanek, who has recently graduated from Webster Vienna. Dr. Mehdi Ali, Professor of Economics at Webster, participated in the 166th Meeting of the OPEC Conference as Analyst. The meeting was held at the OPEC Secretariat here in Vienna, on 27th November, 2014. It was attended by the Oil ministers of the OPEC member countries and received wide media attention.
