Business and Management Associate Professor Dr. Menbere Workie is publishing a monthly commentary on economics and finance in HN Komentare, the most readable Economic Newsletter in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. We investigate the impact of monetary policy shocks (the surprise change in the Fed Funds rate (FFR)) on the excess U.S. corporate bonds returns.

Research Seminar | "Sovereign Debt: Service and Sustainability"

We will be discussing the dynamic evolution of sovereign debt and explore the conditions for its sustainability in terms of the relevant economic and financial conditions.

Dr. Eskerod publishes research on Workplace Health Promotion

Dr. Pernille Eskerod has published a peer-reviewed article in the International Journal of Workplace Health Management.

Research Seminar | “The Payoffs from Investing into Information and Communication Technology”: An Empirical Exploration.

The presentation will cover both the theoretical framework of understanding the link between information and communication technology (ICT) investment and economic growth as well as measurement issues in order to quantify the payoffs from investing into the ICT sector using the data of advancing economies.

Dr. Eskerod presents research at Webster Thailand

In late February 2017, Dr. Pernille Eskerod presented her current research on project opportunity exploitation to students and faculty at Webster Thailand. The presentations took place at Webster's Bangkok Academic Center as well as at the Cha-Am/Hua Hin campus. Dr. Eskerod has been visiting professor at Webster Thailand for the term Spring 1, 2017.
