Classroom Etiquette Guidelines

Classroom Etiquette Guidelines

  • Please make proper use of the university classroom’s resources. Be sure to turn off the lights, beamer, computer and other similar equipment before you leave the classroom.
  • Have consideration for the instructor following your class. Please make sure to erase the white or smart board after your class and check if all the markers have their caps on. In addition, encourage your students to remove their soft drink bottles from the desks and dispose of their trash.
  • Respect the room’s set-up. If you rearrange the room for your class, make sure the desks and chairs are returned to their proper places afterward, except for mid-term and final exams.
  • Do not expect Webster staff to be responsible for classroom settings at all time. Please keep in mind that the Operations Officers set up the rooms every morning and provide equipment throughout the day for each class that has requested it, but they DO NOT prepare the rooms between classes.
  • Report as soon as possible any room damages and/or events when you have found the classroom in improper conditions. Please be informed that Webster assumes no responsibility for any inconveniences caused by instructors who do not comply with the classroom etiquette guidelines.
