Career Services – Webster University worldwide
Webster’s global website offers a wealth of information in the area of career development and continuing education for Webster students and alumni worldwide. On this website you will find valuable information about graduate schools in the US.
Going Global is a valuable resource especially for international students and alumni. It includes links to networking groups, employers and job openings for 24 countries and a variety of cities in the United States. Going Global is part of My Career Connection (MCC), which is the Webster Career Services online job search database. On the Webster website, students worldwide can also access internship and job postings and any other employment-related information through the database called GorlokJobs You can obtain a free account by logging into the Career Services website at www.webster.edu/careers.
On the Webster worldwide career website, you can also access My Next Move, an interactive tool for job seekers and students to learn more about their career options. My Next Move has tasks, skills, US salary information, and more for over 900 different careers. Users can find careers through keyword search; by browsing industries that employ different types of workers; or through the O*NET Interest Profiler, a tool that offers personalized career suggestions based on a person's interests and level of work experience.
Austria – Websites for your job and internship search
The Austrian job and career network absolventen.at is targeted towards currently enrolled students and recent graduates with a maximum of five years of work experience.
The ZBP Career Center is one of Europe's leading recruiting service providers for young business students and graduates. They publish approximately a 1,500 job vacancies that are targeted for students and business graduates, both with and without previous professional experience.
Uniport is the website of the University Vienna career service center. The website offers up-to date career information for Austria and extensive database for internships and jobs openings in Austria.
Unijobs is the largest Austrian job search for student and part-time jobs. They also post available internships in Austria.
The Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS) offers information about working, recruiting and studying in Austria, unemployment insurance, the European Employment Services (EURES) in English. In addition, they provide useful job search links in German.
StudentJob is an online job portal that specialises in providing students with work placements, internships, part time jobs and holiday jobs. They have over 23, 000 registered students and provide part-time jobs, full-time jobs and internships in well known companies.
