Wenkheim Celebration!

On 1st of October the new home of Webster Vienna Private University was celebrated by students, alumni, faculty and staff. While Director Dr. Arthur Hirsh gave an Opening Speech and pointed out that “this move is a step into the right direction for the years to come”, the astonished faces of the visitors wandered around the new breathtaking facility. A video showed the steps of the refurbishment over the past six months.

At the celebration, guests enjoyed American style hot dogs and popcorn, while listening to live music by RayVille. Webster Works Worldwide charity bake sale gave guests the option to taste sweet treats from the diverse cultures of the Webster community and donate for a good cause (Initiative High Lung Pressure) at the same time. The event raised 600 Euros for the cause! Webster students and staff conducted tours throughout the building and guests had the opportunity to win prizes throughout the festivity by buying raffle tickets and learn about the current student clubs.

A big THANK YOU to all the organizers – this was a fabulous way to open a new chapter in Webster University’s history in Austria!
