Webster Volunteers at the United Nations Women’s Guild Charity Bazaar

For the second year in a row, over a dozen Webster LEADS students volunteered at the United Nations Women’s Guild Charity Bazaar held at the Vienna International Center. This annual event raises money for a variety of children’s causes and boasted stands from over 40 different countries.

With thousands of visitors, the international vibe in the air was exciting. Webster student-volunteer Emma Oručević said, “It was great to volunteer at an event that is as international as Webster, and work for a cause that everyone can believe in.”

In addition to the LEADS students, other Webster students were found spread about volunteering at different country stands. At the drink stand alone, where Webster students helped out, over 1,000 euros were raised.

The event was a huge success and we would like to thank all of those who volunteered their time for a great cause.
