Student Life Awards 2017

On Wednesday, April 26th, Webster hosted the second annual Student Life Awards in the atrium to honor students for exceptional work both on campus and in the community. The formal evening recognized students for their dedication and offered a well-deserved moment to celebrate. The nomination committee comprised of two undergrad students, one graduate student, one staff member, and one faculty member. Students Josh Stern and Alexis Wing hosted, and guest performer, Atum Jones played two mesmerizing pieces on the guitar.

WEBMUN received the Outstanding Student Club/Organization Award (also nominated: Chess Club)

Julia Schaubach received the Outstanding Freshman Award (also nominated: Sam Palevchev)

Katarina Jelic received the Outstanding Sophomore Award (also nominated Marie Huber)

Angelina Voinova received the Outstanding Junior Award (also nominated: Ellen Faye-Adams)

 Ilian Scheutz received the Outstanding Senior Award (also nominated: Heba Afifi)

In addition to the local awards, several global Webster awards were given at the event. The recipients were nominated by staff, faculty or fellow students and selected from across the Webster worldwide network.

The Outstanding Student Employee Award went to Jordan Schotz.

The Dean's Award for Service was awarded to Alexis Wing and Heba Afifi.
