Long Nights and Therapy Dogs at Webster Vienna's 3rd Study Week

For the third time, the Webster Vienna Library coordinated a study week program during the busiest time of the semester. The library kept its doors open until 10 pm, providing an encouraging environment topped with quotes from alumni. Their warm words and good luck wishes for the finals were collected in cooperation with the alumni department over the past months and served as motivational decoration in the library. Two psychology students, Denitsa Batsova and Jovana Popovic, offered guided relaxation sessions. With elements from mindfulness, autogenic techniques and breathing exercises they helped to immediately decrease stress.

The highlight was the therapy dogs visit sponsored by the Student Government Association in cooperation with the library. Vivienne and Chi, two well-trained Australian Shepherds accompanied by Gabi Glaser, made the students forget about exams and papers for an hour and put a smile on everyone’s face. The cuddly visitors showed off their tricks and posed for pictures while being pet by students. ''Its been a tough week with exams, meetings, and projects but that does not matter anymore now that I can cuddle with these beautiful puppies!'' Sofija Lozovic, one of the participants, stated.
