Internship Opportunity with GLOBSEC for UG and G students

GLOBSEC, an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental organization based in Bratislava, is looking for up to two interns to join their research team in a semi-remote fashion from January 2018 onwards for stints of no less than three months.

The organization, which aims to shape the global debate on foreign and security policy, has developed a research and advocacy project titled “From Criminals to Terrorists and Back?” that addresses the “crime-terror nexus” in Europe. The main goal of the project is to inquire whether a specific connection to illegal trade is a precursor to terrorism, and to what extent this trade funds terrorism through a large data collection effort across 11 countries.
